Things to do

The Roseland Peninsula is a district of West Cornwall, laden with quiet beaches, beautiful scenery and award winning restaurants. St Mawes is a small town opposite Falmouth and remains unspoilt and uncrowded with a traditional Cornish heart. Wonky cottages tumble down steep, narrow streets to the small, waterfront harbour where fishing boats bob at their moorings, ensuring a blissful break away from everyday life.

St Mawes Castle

Built between 1539 and 1545, St. Mawes Castle is among the best-preserved of Henry VIII’s coastal artillery fortresses, and the most elaborately decorated of them all.
